Role: Site Supervisor
Location: Derby
Salary : £45,500 + Company Vehicle
Multitask Personnel are working with a well-established Industrial Electrical Engineering Contractor serving several industry sectors across the UK for the past 25 years. Over this time, my client has developed a good reputation for an excellent service, working with our customers to provide a wide range of electrical services on their Industrial sites which include large factories, aggregates and waste treatment sites.
The role of the Electrical Site Supervisor is to work in close contact with the customer to deliver all the requirements of the site Service Contract and maintain regular communication with the office to ensure effective resource management and the sharing of up-to-date information. Price and manage any site project work requested by the customer and organise the necessary resources such that these projects are delivered on-time, on-cost and to the necessary standard.
Duties and Responsibilities-
• Supervise and oversee the team that deliver the service contract and liaise with the customer about progress, remedial pricing etc. • Develop and maintain effective relationships with a demanding customer in a fast-paced but highly regulated environment. • Provide weekly status updates to the Field Operations Director and site Duty Holder. • Provide technical support to the team working on-site. • Assess the requirements of any project work determining timescales, costs and resources needed and clarifying any elements of design the electrical project requires. • Audit the work completed under the service schedules including the physical implementation as well as documentation • Set out jobs from drawings and specifications and organise the necessary labour and materials. • Provide assistance and supervisor duties for colleagues as and when required. • Work as part of a team including undertaking minor mechanical and building tasks as skill level allows. • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and tidiness.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience-
•BS7671 18th Edition Required • 2391-52 Required • Completed a recognised electrical apprentice or has undertaken equivalent training to satisfy the practical competence requirements of JIB approved or technical grade electrician • Must have good knowledge on Microsoft Office and be IT confident.
