Are you an experienced, reliable 3.5t driver with electrical installation training? Do you pride yourself on excellent customer service, safe driving, and a job well done?
Our client is a growing logistics company, and we're looking for dedicated drivers who are electrically trained to join our team. You will be delivering and installing white goods (appliances) to customers across the local area of Luton, providing a seamless, end-to-end service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, possesses practical technical skills, and is committed to ensuring goods arrive safely and are installed to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing:
• Delivery & Electrical Installation: You'll be responsible for the safe delivery and professional electrical installation of various white goods (e.g., washing machines, refrigerators, ovens) to peoples homes.
• Customer Service: You'll be the face of their company, providing friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to our customers at every drop-off and installation.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading heavy appliances
• Route Planning: Following planned routes efficiently, adapting to traffic and road conditions as needed.
• Paperwork & Compliance: Completing all necessary delivery and installation sign-off paperwork accurately.
What we're looking for:
• Must be electrically trained to safely disconnect and install domestic white goods and electrical appliances.
• Valid Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience: Proven experience driving 3.5t vehicles, with a background in appliance delivery and installation.
• Physical Fitness: The ability to lift, manoeuvre, and install heavy white goods safely.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to meeting delivery and installation schedules.
• Customer Focus: Excellent communication skills with a positive, helpful attitude when working in customers' homes.
Must have previous experience installing white goods, washers, dishwashers etc
(further training and development to install electric cookers will be provided)
