This is a hands-on role based primarily in the warehouse, ensuring materials and equipment are received, stored and dispatched efficiently. From time to time, you’ll also deliver materials directly to project sites using the company vehicle.

You’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate stock levels, keeping the warehouse safe and organised, and supporting the smooth flow of materials to a variety of retrofit projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive deliveries, check them against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
  • Safely store, organise, and maintain stock within the warehouse.
  • Prepare and pick materials for project teams.
  • Deliver materials and equipment to local sites when required.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for goods in/out.
  • Support ongoing improvements in warehouse organisation and processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or materials handling environment.
  • Valid Forklift Truck licence.
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily warehouse tasks.
  • Clear communication skills to liaise with colleagues and site teams.
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual work (within safe limits).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering materials to construction or retrofit sites.
  • Familiarity with basic inventory systems or Excel for stock tracking.

What’s On Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to play a key role in impactful retrofit projects.
  • Supportive working environment with solid operational backing.
  • Professional development opportunities in a growing sector.
  • A genuine chance to contribute to the UK’s low-carbon future
