Salary: £25,000 – £29,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Multitask Personnel are pleased to be working with a well-established building services contractor based in South Sheffield, who are looking to recruit a Trainee M&E Buyer to join their growing team.

Our client delivers a fully managed service across mechanical and electrical projects, covering everything from design and costing through to installation, commissioning and ongoing support. With a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork, they provide a seamless, end-to-end solution for their clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in M&E, construction, plumbing merchants or electrical wholesale who is looking to move into a buying role and develop their career.

The Role

Working closely with project managers, you will support the procurement of materials across a range of projects. This is a varied, hands-on role offering excellent exposure to suppliers, products and project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Liaising with project managers to understand project requirements
• Researching and sourcing suppliers for materials
• Raising purchase orders for approval
• Coordinating and ensuring delivery of materials to site
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation

About You

• Previous experience within M&E, construction, plumbing or electrical wholesale
• Good understanding of materials and supply processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Confident communication skills

Package

• Salary: £25,000 – £29,000
• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
