Trainee Contracts Manager

Role: Trainee Contracts Manager 

Location: Darlington 

Type: Contracted to 40hr working week - flexible

Salary: £30,000 

Multitask Personnel are working with a national leading FM company who we are working closely with to help find a Trainee Contracts Manager to be based out of their Darlington Office. 

You will be assisting the contracts managers when overseeing and managing planned and reactive maintenance works within a geographical area. You will be responsible for assisting senior members of staff to manage work from the quotation step through to completion. You will ensure all works are completed on time, in budget and to the correct standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and communicating weekly labour schedules 
• Managing staff holidays and sickness 
• After a training period, prepare remedial quotations/estimates for clients within agreed contractual timescales. Provide clients with detailed quotations, photos and second price options for reactive maintenance issues.
• Showing contracts managers on client briefing Relevant trade skills in a fabric, mechanical or electrical discipline

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Relevant trade skills in a fabric, mechanical or electrical discipline
• GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/Level 4)
• Understanding of the principles of reactive maintenance work
• Persons who are interested in applying should have a construction related HNC or a Degree, or be currently working towards, or possess a willingness to undertake an external Level 4 qualification/apprenticeship course in the future
