Job Opportunity: Industrial Electrician (Test and Inspection)

Location: Yorkshire
Salary & Benefits: Circa £55k per year + company vehicle and other benefits

Multitask Personnel is collaborating with a well-established Industrial Electrical Engineering Contractor that has been delivering exceptional services across various industry sectors in the UK for the past 25 years. The company is renowned for its quality service and extensive range of electrical solutions provided on Industrial sites, including quarries, large factories, and waste treatment plants.

We’re recruiting for an experienced Test and Inspection Electrician to work around the Yorkshire area on a permanent basis in industrial settings

Key Responsibilities of the Test and Inspection Electrician

• Carrying out electrical periodic inspection and testing work in Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water and other heavy industries.

• Strictly adhere to all site rules and Health & Safety regulations. In case of uncertainty, proactively seek guidance from the Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ECS Registered: Fully qualified Gold Card including AM2.
• Wiring Regulations: Qualified in BS7671 18th or 17th edition.

• Test and Inspection: City & Guilds 2391/52 with experience

• Driving Licence: Valid UK driving licence required.
• Industry Background: Experience in Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water, or other heavy industries is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: Circa £50k including OT
• Pension: NEST Scheme with 4% company contribution.
• Holidays: 24 days per year plus 8 statutory holidays.
• Company Vehicle: A van is provided for multi-site work.
• Fuel: Business miles fuel card provided with the van.
• Insurance: Personal Accident Insurance coverage at 4x the salary.
• Working Hours: Average working hours are 50hrs per week (40hrs basic/10hrs at OT rate)
• Work Location: Project sites with occasional visits to the clients office, the role involves working away.
• Tools: All PPE, specialist tools, and testers provided by the company.
