Job Opportunity: Industrial Electrician (Test and Inspection)

Multitask Personnel is collaborating with a well-established Industrial Electrical Engineering Contractor, renowned for delivering exceptional services across various industry sectors in the UK for the past 25 years. The company offers a comprehensive range of electrical solutions, particularly on industrial sites, including quarries, large factories, and waste treatment plants.

Position Overview:
We are recruiting for an experienced Test and Inspection Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis, working across the East Midlands in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities of the Test and Inspection Electrician Role:

• Conduct electrical periodic inspection and testing in industries such as Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water, and other heavy sectors.
• Adhere strictly to all site rules and Health & Safety regulations.
• Proactively seek guidance from the Supervisor in case of uncertainty.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ECS Registered: Fully qualified Gold Card holder, including AM2.
• Wiring Regulations: Qualified in BS7671 18th or 17th edition.
• Test and Inspection: City & Guilds 2391/52 with hands-on experience.
• Driving Licence: Valid UK driving licence required.
• Industry Background: Experience in Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water, or other heavy industries is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: Circa £50k including overtime.
• Pension: NEST Scheme with a 4% company contribution.
• Holidays: 24 days per year plus 8 statutory holidays.
• Company Vehicle: A van is provided for multi-site work.
• Fuel: Business miles fuel card provided with the van.
• Insurance: Personal Accident Insurance coverage at 4x the salary.
• Working Hours: Average 50 hours per week (40 hours basic/10 hours at OT rate).
• Tools: All PPE, specialist tools, and testers provided by the company.

Work Location:
Primarily on project sites, with occasional visits to the client's office. The role involves working away.
