Telehandler Operator
Location: Barrow in Furness
Project Duration: 6 weeks (Monday to Friday) 
Start Date: 11/03/2026

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator for a 6 week project in Barrow in Furness. The role will involve supporting an electrical installation team on a busy construction site, ensuring materials and equipment are moved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently on site
• Transport and position materials for site teams
• Load and unload deliveries
• Assist with general site logistics and material distribution
• Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
• Follow all site health and safety procedures
• Work closely with site management to coordinate lifting activities

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
• Valid CSCS card
• Proven experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
• Good understanding of site health and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
