Street Scene Operative

Role: Street Scene Operative 

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester 

Contract: Temporary Ongoing 

Hourly Rate: £12.25ph 

Multitask Personnel are working alongside a local authority in Bolton who are looking to recruit Street Scene Operative on a temporary ongoing basis. 

Start Date: Wednesday 12.06.2024

Working Hours: 0730 to 1530 Monday to Friday 

Main Duties for the Street Scene Operative:

• To manually sweep and collect litter and detritus from the highway and open spaces shrub areas.
• Remove fly tipping
• To undertake Grounds Maintenance duties including shrub and flower bed maintenance, shrub bed pruning, hedge cutting and pedestrian and ride on grass cutting and edging off of associated grassed areas
• To undertake pedestrian sweeping
• To manually remove graffiti.
• Ensure playground areas are maintained and street furniture is maintained and painted when required.

Essential for the role:

• The ability to accept and understand verbal and written communications
• Full UK Driving Licence 
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials e.g. washing machines
