They are currently looking for a skilled Solar Roofer to join their team in Reading.

About the Role
As a Solar Roofer, you will play a key role in the installation and maintenance of domestic Solar PV systems and battery storage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about renewable energy and seeking to build a long-term career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar PV systems on domestic properties, including panel mounting, cable routing, and sealing
• Collaborate with electricians and other trades to complete full system installations
• Conduct roof assessments and report any structural concerns
• Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations, building codes, and company standards

Requirements

• Proven experience installing rooftop solar PV systems (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong understanding of solar PV components and mounting systems
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• CSCS card and Working at Heights certification (preferred)
• Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
• Must be able to pass a DBS check
