Smart Meter Engineer

Multitask Personnel are working with our award winning client, a UK renewable energy group specialising in sustainable energy, including Solar Energy.

We’re working with them to recruit experienced Smart Meter Engineers, based in and around South East England, in SG, LU, AL, SL, RG, GU, SO, PO, RH, BN, TN, ME, CT, SS, CM, CO postcodes

Smart Meter Engineer role:

You’ll be fitting meters; showing customers how their meter and in-home display works; how it can help them save energy and answering any questions about the green energy revolution you’re supporting with

Requirements of the Smart Meter Engineer:

• Requirements of the Smart Meter Engineer:
• Safety at the forefront of everything you do
• Excellent people skills and a dynamic approach to smart metering
• Previous experience in domestic dual fuel metering
• Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent);
• MOCoPA - at least 1ph WC
• A full UK driving licence.
• The ability to use a handheld terminal.
• A flexible working approach and a desire to create a positive customer experience

In return the company offer:

• £34.5k salary with a £2.5k annual performance related (£37.5k inside M25)
• 22 days holiday per year increasing to 25 days per year (service length related)
• 5% pension contributions
• £25 per week lunch allowance
• Fitting bonus (£25 per asset after the 6^th asset)
• Profit share scheme, currently up to £1.5k per year
• Opportunity for upskilling to EV, solar, heat pump and battery storage
