Sales Team Lead

Location: Leeds, UK
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 base + Commission on Personal Sales + Team Bonuses (OTE £45-50K)

Are you a results-focused, inspiring leader with a passion for sales and renewable energy? Our client are  seeking a Sales Team Leader to mentor, motivate, and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives. In this role, you will oversee and develop a team of four SDRs with varying shifts, while actively participating in appointment setting to ensure high standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Recruit, train, and develop a successful SDR team, coaching them on effective sales strategies and creating a culture of success.
•  Set the standard for the team by engaging in appointment setting and customer interactions, leading by example.
•  Manage team KPIs, such as cost per appointment and acquisition costs, ensuring goals are achieved within budget.
•  Coordinate with external agencies and oversee web campaigns (social media, Google Ads) to drive lead generation and maximize ROI.
•  Utilize an eight-year-established customer base to build strong connections and increase appointment bookings through effective communication.

Requirements:

•  3+ years in outbound sales, cold calling, direct sales, or telemarketing; management experience is preferred, but experienced senior sales reps ready to step into leadership are welcome.
•  Driven to hit targets and inspire your team to achieve the same.
•  Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage team performance, budgets, and schedules efficiently.
•  An enthusiastic, positive motivator who can build resilience and strong relationships in a dynamic environment.
