Right to Buy Officer • Location: Doncaster • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm • Salary: £14.17 per hour • Contract: Full-time, 8-week placement (potential for extension)
About the Role: Multitask is recruiting a Right to Buy Officer on behalf of an award-winning housing provider that delivers exceptional social and private sector services across Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact, processing Right to Buy applications in line with legislation and internal procedures while supporting customers throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide advice and assistance to customers via phone, correspondence, and face-to-face interactions, including occasional home visits. • Process Right to Buy applications, ensuring compliance with legislation, safeguarding, and money-laundering procedures. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to progress applications, including addressing valuation, property plans, and boundary issues. • Maintain accurate and secure manual and electronic records in accordance with GDPR. • Deliver performance data and maintain service procedure documents and customer-facing materials. • Provide guidance on home improvement requests in line with company policies. • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, reporting any concerns appropriately.
Essential Skills and Experience: • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload. • Proficiency in IT systems and accurate record-keeping. • Experience handling detailed and sensitive information from customer applications. • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to navigate complex cases.
