Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours per week

Salary: Up to £60k with 10% Car Allowance, plus excellent benefits

About the Role:

We are looking for a Retrofit Consultant to join a growing team that is leading the way in decarbonising the UK. The role offers opportunities for progression within the business. As a Retrofit Consultant, you will be responsible for coordinating retrofit works across the country, with flexibility to work from home or in the office. Travel to various client locations will be required, with visits to remote areas clustered together.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to map their decarbonisation journey.
  • Provide funding support and build strong, trusted relationships with clients.
  • Drive business development within the social housing or local authority sectors.
  • Oversee Retrofit Assessors delivering PAS2035 services nationwide.
  • Represent the company in leadership roles at events and meetings.
  • Utilise and manage systems, databases, and quality management processes.
  • Support and deputise for team members as needed.
  • Serve as a Retrofit Coordinator, ensuring adherence to PAS2035 standards from inception to evaluation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in building services, particularly heating and ventilation systems.
  • Exhibit strong project management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Work independently and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Travel regularly to client homes across the UK.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience of carrying out retrofit works in a domestic setting.
  • Understanding of the construction industry and the roles within a building project.
  • Experience in building energy modelling (SAP, PHPP, or similar).
  • DEA/Retrofit Assessor qualification.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Domestic Retrofit Coordinator and Risk Management.
  • Retrofit Coordinator Accreditation.
  • Scheme-specific P&L management experience.
  • Domestic Energy Assessor/Retrofit Assessor (desirable).
  • Strong background in domestic building retrofit.
  • Construction management or M&E management experience.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word & Microsoft 365.
  • Deep understanding of building physics, particularly in relation to retrofit energy efficiency measures.
  • Full driving license with business insurance cover.
