Position – Quantity Surveyor

Location – South Yorkshire

Salary – UPTO £45k DOE

Multitask Personnel have a fantastic opportunity available for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join an established contractor with a turnover of £7m. They are a specialist Dry Lining & Ceiling contractor operating within the house building and commercial / retail sector. The company is involved with total tenders of approx £100m per year. Project values are between £10k - £1.5m.

Due to growth, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join the dynamic team on the commercial / retail side of the business. This position is based in the South Yorkshire but you will also be required to visit site as and when required. 90% of the current contracts are based in Yorkshire. 

• This role will give you the opportunity to be involved in building the business and enhancing your skills and knowledge along with future progression.
• This role would suit an ambitious Estimator or Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their skills.  You will have an Interiors background ideally within Ceilings and Dry Lining and have the willingness to learn and work on your own initiative.
• The ideal candidate will be able to support in various projects requirements such as management of subcontractors, payments, managing sub-contractor accounts, re-measuring, valuations and reporting, attending site meetings and delivery of tenders alongside Project Director, Contracts Manager and the MD as and when required so flexibility is key.

To be successful you will have:

• 5 years experience minimum
• Degree Qualified or time served
• Experience in Dry Lining & Ceilings would be advantageous.
• Work on own initiative
