Role Overview

The Quality & Compliance Lead will play a vital role in ensuring the business operates to the highest standards of compliance, accreditation, and quality management. The role will oversee the company’s accreditations (PAS, MCS), ensure C2 and C3 inspections are completed and reported in line with funder requirements, and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Alongside compliance responsibilities, the role will focus on continuous business improvement, supporting the growth of the company by seeking out and recommending the most effective digital solutions and software platforms. This will help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of service delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain compliance with industry accreditations (PAS, MCS, and others).
  • Ensure C2 and C3 inspections are carried out in line with funder obligations and reported accurately.
  • Develop and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Prepare the business for ISO 9001 accreditation.
  • Lead on the review, documentation, and improvement of business processes.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend digital tools and software solutions to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary contact for audits, inspections, and accreditation bodies.
  • Produce accurate compliance and inspection reports for management and external funders.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory and accreditation changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Identify risks, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement, implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to colleagues on compliance, quality, and process improvements.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in compliance, quality management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accreditation frameworks such as PAS and MCS.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, capable of engaging with colleagues, auditors, and funders.
  • Ability to interpret and apply compliance, accreditation, and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver process improvements.
