Quality Control Administrator – Smart Metering Programme (Full Time)
Tamworth | £13.05 per hour | Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm

We are now recruiting for a Quality Control Administrator to join their Tamworth office on a full-time basis, supporting a large-scale, government-backed smart metering programme aimed at delivering smart meters for all.


The Role
We are looking for a detail-focused and motivated individual to support operational quality standards across meter survey activities. This role involves reviewing job submissions, checking for accuracy and ensuring all information is complete and compliant.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving and working with detail, even if you haven’t worked in a QC role before. Full training will be provided, and the team has a strong track record of developing people into the position.


Key Responsibilities
• Review and quality check meter surveyor job submissions for accuracy and completeness
• Check supporting documentation and photographic evidence aligns with recorded job activity
• Identify discrepancies or missing information and follow up where needed
• Support resolution of queries on more detailed or complex jobs
• Maintain and update CRM systems and internal trackers
• Liaise with surveyors, engineers and internal teams to gather information and resolve issues
• Contribute to maintaining high quality standards across the programme


What We’re Looking For
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Comfortable working with data and systems
• Clear communication skills
• A reliable, organised and proactive attitude

Previous experience in quality control, administration, utilities or metering would be beneficial, but is not essential.


Qualifications
Minimum Grade 4 (C) GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 8.30am-4.30pm - 37.5hrs a week
Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour
