Our client is a well-established business within the Utilities industry, As Service delivery manager you will manage a team of up to 10 Project Managers and Coordinators on I&C Electric meter installations to ensure all projects are delivered within timescales, budget, and meet the expectations of the client.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Delivery

• Manage the delivery of utility service projects, making all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
• Maintain project progress utilising tools and systems to ensure clear timelines and budgets are met
• Resource planning for projects

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Be the main contact for clients, sharing updates on project progress and answering any questions.
• Build and develop strong relationships with blue chip clients, identifying potential areas to develop more business with them.
• Manage supplier relationships

People management

• Hire, train, and manage the right people to ensure they’re skilled and aligned with company values.
• Hold regular team meetings and reviews to keep everyone on track and motivated.
• Create a culture where the team feels encouraged and appreciated

• Project Management: Great at keeping projects on track with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Leadership: Skilled at hiring, coaching, and managing teams.
• Client Engagement: Comfortable building strong client relationships and addressing their needs.
• Data and Compliance: Knowledgeable about managing data and staying compliant with regulations.
• Communication: Excellent at explaining things clearly to everyone involved.
• Problem-Solving: Quick to find solutions when challenges arise.
• Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets and keeping costs under control.

The ideal candidate will have

• Previous people management experience
• Previous experience managing project delivery within a similar industry

• Client management and development

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with two days based in the Cardiff office and three days working from home. It includes a competitive basic salary of around £45k, along with benefits and excellent opportunities for progression.
