Location : Beighton, Sheffield

Hourly rate: £12.30 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Contract type: Temp to Perm

Our client operates a hybrid working policy. The successful candidate will be expected to attend the Sheffield head office at least three days per week, with flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days in line with business needs.

This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

About the Role

The Project Administrator provides essential administrative support to the project team, ensuring the smooth delivery of multiple projects. This position involves the careful management of documentation, effective communication with engineers and stakeholders, and day-to-day organisational tasks that keep projects running on track.

You will work closely with project managers and the wider team to ensure all administrative requirements are delivered accurately and on time.

 

Responsibilities Include

  • Administration of health and safety documentation.
  • Compiling engineering packs for distribution.
  • Setting up and maintaining project folders in line with the project execution plan.
  • Making hotel and travel bookings for engineers as required.
  • Taking and distributing accurate minutes of project meetings.
  • Daily filing and archiving of documentation.
  • Archiving completed projects on the server.
  • Recording and storing communications confirming site attendance.
  • Liaising with engineers regarding travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Communicating with the Resource department as necessary.
  • Producing project-specific reports when required.
  • Answering telephones, meeting and greeting visitors, and other general administrative duties.

 

Person Specification

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing and able to learn in-house systems relevant to the role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and maintaining high standards under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with others.
