Your Role
As the National Business Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of driving profitable sales growth across the UK. Your core responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities while managing and nurturing relationships with existing national clients. Working closely with internal sales teams, branch managers, and other departments, you’ll ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience from initial contact through to aftersales support.
This is a hands-on, field-based role that will see you actively engaging with prospects and customers across the country, identifying emerging opportunities, and representing the company at key industry events. You'll play a vital role in expanding our market share and shaping the future of our business as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilites
Engage with internal leads via telephone, qualify them, and convert them into profitable, long-term customers.
Identify and approach new prospects not currently known to the business.
Schedule and attend meetings across the UK to build and maintain partnerships with clients, prospects, and suppliers.
Attend key industry events and commercial functions across the UK—and occasionally internationally—outside of standard working hours when required.
Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.
What You Will Bring
Proven experience in a Business Development Manager or Sales Executive role, ideally within the renewable energy sector (wholesale experience is a bonus).
A solid track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets.
Strong product knowledge relevant to the sector.
