Multiskilled Joiner

Multitask Personnel are working with our award winning client, a UK renewable energy group, specialising in sustainable energy, including Solar Energy.

We’re working with them to recruit experienced multiskilled joiners/carpenters in the Ipswich area

Client assessment day on 26^th February.

Purpose of the Roofer role:

To work alongside the install team installing low carbon technology in customers home. You will work alongside the electricians and roofers.

When required you will be required to strengthen roof timbers in preparation for solar instals, install loft hatches/ladders. Board lofts and complete touch ups and minor repairs internal and external.

Requirements for the Roofer Role:

• NVQ L2 Carpentry
• Experience of working as a Carpenter in the building trade either as a Carpenter or as a multi-skilled Carpenter
• Maintenance/ Repairs experience Desirable.
• Associated trade skills of basic Rainwater goods, plaster patching & decorating.
• Experience of delivering multi-trade work.
• Good organisational skills
• Experience of keeping jobs on track
• The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently
• Good IT Skills. Experienced using a PDA/tablet.
• Full driving licence

• As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.

• £30k - £32K salary with a £2.5k annual performance related bonus
• Company van with fuel card
• 22 days holiday per year increasing to 25 days per year (service length related)
• 5% pension contributions
• Profit  share scheme, currently up to £1.5k per year
