Multi Trade Plasterer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Multi Trade Plasterer to join a well-established team delivering reactive maintenance and void property works across Durham. This role requires a dependable and versatile tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship across a range of disciplines within a social housing environment.

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard and are fit for purpose.

Key duties include:

• Repair and renew plastered ceilings and walls
• Repair and renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring
• Repair and renew doors, door casings, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boxing and ducting panelling
• Repair and renew kitchen units, worktops and decorative finishes
• Repair, replace and fit ironmongery to doors and windows
• Repair and renew timber and UPVC window frames
• Reglaze windows where required
• Repair fencing and gates
• Carry out multi-trade duties including basic plumbing, painting including damp and mould treatment and floor tiling

What We Need From You

• Time served or a recognised apprenticeship with NVQ Level 2 or Level 3
• Proven experience as a Multi Trade Plasterer, Joiner or Plumber
• Competent in plastering and or plumbing as a core trade
• Ability to carry out a range of multi-trade works to a high standard
• Experience working within a social housing environment is desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS card preferred
• Asbestos awareness
• Own tools
