Location: Ellesmere Port and Surrounding Areas

Salary: Starting from £20 per hour

Contract Type: Temp to Perm (£32,985 per annum + OTE opportunities)

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join their team. This role is based in Ellesmere Port and surrounding areas, working 40 hours per week on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,985 per annum, with OTE opportunities, plus a company van, fuel card, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities for the Multi -Skilled Joiner:

As a Multi-Skilled Joiner, your duties will include:

• Removing, relaying, or laying new flag work
• Undertaking small-scale groundwork
• Repairing, renewing, and fitting roofing trusses for traditional, hips, and valleys
• Repairing, renewing, and fitting soffit fascia and barge boards
• Repairing and renewing ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, and T&G or sheet flooring
• Repairing, renewing, and fitting doors, door casings, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, and ducting panelling
• Repairing and installing kitchen units, worktops, and decorative finishes
• Repairing, replacing, and fitting ironmongery to doors and windows
• Repairing and renewing timber and UPVC window frames
• Reglazing timber fencing and gates
• Multi-trade duties including patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling, and minor groundwork activities

Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Joiner:

The ideal candidate will:

• Have completed a recognized Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3) in Joinery
• Have experience working as a Multi-Skilled Joiner
• Be competent in all aspects of joinery
• Have plastering experience (desirable)
• Have the ability to carry out multi-skill trades, with expertise in core Joinery or Groundwork
• Have experience working in a social housing environment
• Hold a valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and own tools – Essential
