Mobile Electrician – Birmingham

Salary: £26 per hour

Location: Birmingham (covering up to a 50-mile radius)

Hours: 40 hours per week – Temp to Perm

On-Call: 1 in 6–8 weeks

Are you a skilled electrician looking for variety, autonomy, and genuine long-term stability? We're on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Electrician to join a growing team on a temp-to-perm basis, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial buildings in Birmingham and the surrounding area. No two days will look the same – you'll be trusted to manage your own workload across multiple sites, with a clear path to a permanent role for the right person.

• Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across a portfolio of commercial buildings
• Travel between multiple sites across Birmingham and up to a 50-mile radius
• Complete inspection and testing works in line with current regulations
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely
• Take part in the on-call rota (1 in 6–8 weeks)
• Maintain accurate records of works carried out, including certification and reports
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

Essential:

• 18th Edition
• City & Guilds Level 3 (Electrical Installation)
• NVQ Level 3
• Inspection & Testing qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP)

Desirable:

• 2391 (Inspection & Testing)

• £26 per hour, 40 hours per week on a temp-to-perm contract
