Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Grimsby, Lincolnshire

Salary: Circa £65,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Our client is a well-established and reputable M&E contractor, delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical installations across the UK. With a strong pipeline of commercial projects and a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction, they are now looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Mechanical Project Manager.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of mechanical installation projects across a range of commercial environments, including universities, schools, and healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities - Mechanical Project Manager

• Manage mechanical installation projects typically valued between £1m–£3m
• Lead client interactions, including progress meetings and relationship management
• Prepare and manage variations, cost control, and commercial reporting
• Identify risks and proactively resolve technical and delivery issues
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking
• Manage procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the lifecycle

Requirements - Mechanical Project Manager

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on commercial M&E projects
• Strong understanding of project delivery from pre-construction through to handover
• SMSTS certification
• Relevant mechanical qualifications
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Trimble (desirable, not essential)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
