Multitask Personnel are delighted to be working with a well-established and expanding company who specialise within the Mechanical and Electrical industry. Services include Project Management, Electrical Services, Mechanical Services, Hot and Cold-Water Services, Drainage, Gas Services, Air Conditioning etc.

We are working closely with them to recruit a Mechanical Estimator to work alongside the team in Chesterfield.

Role Specification:

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Pro-actively contact clients to provide updates on tender and quote status and develop new leads
• Review all tender information issued as part of the enquiry and seek additional details where required to enable the tender package to be responded to in accordance with the return date
• Analyse financial implications of any contract conditions issued as part of tender enquiry. Including reviewing with the commercial team such conditions
• Carry out estimates, quotes and tender returns for projects encompassing all requirements for mechanical building services e.g. HVAC, H&C Water services, Drainage/Public Health Services, Utilities/Incoming Services, Internal and External services, BMS/Controls, BWIC, Electrical Services in Connection.
• Assist Electrical Estimators in production of electrical tender returns  
• Carry out Mechanical Services Design Calculations and Hand Mark Drawings to enable D&B projects to be costed
• Undertake design checks to enable works to be costed

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Building Services
• HNC/HND and/or Degree Qualification
• Relevant experience in the role of Mechanical Estimator
