M&E Project Manager

Role: M&E Project Manager

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Circa £55,000

Multitask personnel are working with an established and highly reputable company who deliver a number of M&E projects and Maintenance to companies within the Commercial and Retail industries, from design, initial costing and commissioning to installation, handover and on-going support and maintenance.

The role of Project Manager is to provide management and direction to Supervisors, Engineers and Sub-Contractors.

You will be responsible for ensuring Supervisors , Engineers and Subcontractors are compliant of works, providing support to them as and when required. Assisting with the day to day running of the team ,creating and hitting daily objectives, as well as being part of running small projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES - 

• Ensuring all the team, operatives and sub-contractors are maintaining a high level of Health And Safety.
• Minimise exposure and risk across projects
• Plan and Manage the teams departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales.
• Manage project scope and implementation of change control strategy and escalate where necessary.
• Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.
• Organise work groups and team meetings.
• Cross Reference scope of works and bill of materials/standard quote templates with original scope of works and quotation and escalate any variances. 
• Set Achievable, Measurable and Realistic targets for all team members.
• Running small projects from start to completion. 

REQUIRMENTS -

• Relationship Management
• Report writing skills
• Apprentice Trained NVQ L3 Minimum
• PC Literate - Microsoft Office
• 2391-52 Inspection and Testing
• NICEIC QS Experience
• C&G 2396 OR Equivalent
• Multiskilled - Electrical Bias with knowledge of Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Access Control(Desirable)
