Maintenance Electrician

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a prestigious commercial campus on a temp-to-perm basis. Working within a modern static site environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and general building services engineering duties.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced engineer who takes pride in maintaining critical systems and delivering high standards within a professional facilities environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems
• Fault find and repair electrical systems and associated plant equipment
• Support mechanical maintenance duties where required
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Liaise with site management and subcontractors when required
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company standards

Essential Requirements

Candidates must hold:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Electrotechnical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• DBS Check
• Asbestos Awareness – UKATA or IATP certified

Experience Required

• Previous experience in a commercial building services or facilities maintenance environment
• Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Experience working within a static commercial site preferred
• Good understanding of PPM systems and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Package

• Permanent salary of £48,000
• Stable static site role
