Salary: £18.75 per hour for 37.5 hours, overtime paid at £28.13 after 37.5 hours.

Multitask Personnel is collaborating with a leading Electrical and Mechanical company based in Sheffield, specialising in facilities maintenance. From humble beginnings, they have grown into a full-service provider of turnkey M&E and facilities management solutions.

Role Overview:

We are seeking skilled Installation/Testing/Maintenance Electricians to join our team based in Sheffield. This role covers a 30-mile radius, encompassing Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician:

• Provide planned and reactive electrical maintenance and installations across multiple commercial and retail sites.
• Carry out EICRs, reactive repairs, and installation work on various asset types, including but not limited to:
  • Lighting systems
  • Electrical distribution boards & associated circuits
  • Fire & intruder alarm systems
  • Pumps, motors, and associated control systems
  • Building management systems
  • PAT testing
  • HVAC systems
  • EV systems
• Perform fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment and systems.
• Conduct alterations, installations, and electrical testing in line with specifications and legislation.
• Participate in an on-call service as part of a call-out rota.

Qualifications;

18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, AM2, City & Guilds 2391 (desirable) Inspection & Testing experience (essential)

Package:

• Basic rate of £18.75 per hour
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours worked
• Normal working hours: 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
• 30 minutes travel time each way per day, paid after 30 minutes
• Company van provided
• Uniform & PPE provided

Salary Examples with overtime:

• 40 hours per week: £40,219
• 45 hours per week: £47,533
• 50 hours per week: £54,846
