Role: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £28,000 to £35,000
Benefits: All overtime paid 1.5 / 2.0 on Sundays, Stay away bonus per night, company vehicle car/van provided (can be used for personal use)
What is the purpose of the Legionella Risk Assessor role:
- To carry out Legionella Water Risk Assessments for domestic hot and cold water systems
- To provide technical advise when needed to other members of staff or clients
- You may be asked to carry out clean and disinfections along with water sampling or other PPMs to support the business
Essential for the Legionella Risk Assessor:
- Served an apprenticeship or a recognised formal training programme and have experience of working in a related industrial environment
- Should be knowledgeable in planned maintenance systems
- Must be physically fit as the work can involve lifting, use of ladders, working at high levels, inside or around plant and in hot conditions
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
Main Assignments for the Legionella Risk Assessor:
- To ensure the company is working to the correct standards set out by Legionella Control Association/L8 HSG274 Parts 1, 2 & 3 and (BS8580:-1:2019)
- Assisting in good H&S compliance, statutory compliance
- Completing risk assessment write-up within a 2-3 week window from attendance on-site.
- Sample submission forms to be sent to the client and office on the same day as they have been taken
