Internal Sales Consultant – Renewable Energy Wholesale

Basildon | Circa £30k DOE

The Role

You’ll play a key part in the sales function, developing customer relationships, managing internal sales activities and driving revenue. Working closely with new and existing clients, you’ll offer technical solutions while ensuring exceptional service from enquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B customer accounts across the UK
  • Lead inbound and outbound sales to generate new business
  • Oversee the internal sales process from initial enquiry to fulfilment
  • Prepare accurate quotations and sales documentation
  • Support customers with solar system design (training provided)
  • Maintain precise client and sales records using CRM systems
  • Work with procurement, logistics and technical teams to deliver seamless service

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a B2B or wholesale sales role within electrical, renewables or building supplies
  • Strong leadership or coordination skills within a sales team
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable translating technical information for customers
  • Organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in solar, electrical or renewables is an advantage
