Maintenance Electrician

· Location: Sheffield – working in the local area

· Salary: £38,025 per annum + £1,950 per annum on-call allowance (1 in 4 rota) + overtime

· Full Time, Permanent

· Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

· Time and a half after contracted hours

· On call is paid door to door

Multitask Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading building services contractor for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their facilities Management division.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of hospitality sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and minor installation works.
• Undertake fault finding, repairs, alterations, and electrical testing in line with current regulations.
• Work on a range of electrical systems including lighting, distribution boards, fire and intruder alarms, pumps, motors, BMS, HVAC controls, PAT testing, and EV charging systems.
• Respond to reactive call-outs and participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rota.
• Produce quotations for repair and installation works where required.
• Maintain accurate records using the CAFM system.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, site procedures, and service level agreements.
• Travel between sites as required.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• AM2 qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, installation, and fault finding.
• Previous experience within Facilities Management or building services environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Flexible approach and willingness to participate in the on-call rota
