High Voltage Supervisor

Job Title: High Voltage Supervisor
Location: East Riding of Yorkshire and Surrounding Areas
Salary: Circa £50k + Company Vehicle

We’re on the lookout for a driven and experienced High Voltage Supervisor with a strong background in DNO projects (Northern Power, etc.). If you are passionate, thrive in leadership roles, and want to play a critical part in delivering EV and PV installations, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee HV installation projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
• Act as the key liaison with DNOs, particularly, ensuring smooth communication and operational alignment.
• Implement and enforce HSE policies, carry out detailed risk assessments, and support a culture of safety first.
• Manage on site teams to meet project goals on time and within budget.
• Conduct audits and provide technical oversight on jointing and electrical installations.
• Keep up with industry standards (BS7671, 18th Edition) and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

• ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years’ experience in the electricity supply industry
• HV Authorised Person with proven switching experience
• Hands on experience working with DNOs (Northern Power, etc.)
• Strong technical knowledge of jointing, testing, and HV/LV systems
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)
• Ability to interpret site drawings and mains records
• Confident leader with great communication and team coordination skills
