Gas Data Manager
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £32,500 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Multitask Personnel is proud to be working with a leading utilities provider specialising in the supply, installation, and maintenance of gas, electric, and SMART meters. We are recruiting a Gas Data Manager to join their dynamic team in Glasgow.
As a Gas Data Manager, you will lead a team of 5-10 data analysts, overseeing the management of gas data devices to ensure seamless data delivery to customers and suppliers in line with industry SLAs. This role is key to maintaining high standards of accuracy, performance reporting, and continuous improvement within gas data services.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage the collection, analysis, and distribution of gas data to meet customer SLAs.
  • Lead a team of data analysts, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Drive automation solutions and system improvements based on customer and legislative requirements.
  • Monitor departmental performance and report on recurring rental targets.
  • Manage logger stock levels to ensure operational targets are met.
  • Raise monthly invoices to contractors and suppliers for lost or damaged devices.
  • Oversee process improvements to enhance service delivery and reduce customer complaints.
  • Ensure systems are updated with relevant information to ensure correct setup and distribution of data for deployed devices.
  • Manage and control departmental P&L in line with targets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry guidelines and maintain product performance standards.

What we're looking for
•    Degree educated (or equivalent experience).
•    Proven experience in leading a team successfully.
•    Strong communication and people management skills.
•    Experience with mobile devices, telecoms, electronics design, and manufacturing.
•    Highly IT literate with experience in automated file flows and data transfer.
•    Problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.
•    Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
•    Self-starter with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
