Job Title: FRA Joiner

Location: Liverpool (with travel to Salford as needed)

Salary: Starting from £20 per hour

Contract Type: Temp to Perm (£34,000 per annum + on-target earnings)

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an FRA Joiner to join their team. This role involves carrying out joinery and fire-stopping works as well as FRA site safety assessments. Based in Liverpool, with occasional work on contracts in Salford, this is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, plus a company van, fuel card, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities for the FRA Joiner:

As an FRA Joiner, your duties will include:

• Repairing and installing Fire-Resistant Timber Door sets
• Deglazing and reglazing Fire Door panels
• Repairing and renewing Timber and UPVC Window Frames
• Applying intumescent coatings to surfaces and ensuring all work records are completed
• Maintaining and replenishing vehicle impressed stock

Requirements for the FRA Joiner:

The ideal candidate will:

• Have completed a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3) in Joinery
• Have experience working as a Joiner
• Ideally, have experience in a social housing environment
• Be competent in all aspects of the joinery trade discipline, with experience in domestic and commercial maintenance, general repairs, and refurbishments (including high-rise blocks)
• Fire-stopping experience is advantageous
• Hold a valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and own tools – Essential
