The Opportunity

Are you an experienced fire sprinkler engineer who takes pride in keeping life-safety systems operating at their best? Our client is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Service Engineer to join a growing team, with a company vehicle, paid overtime, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression.

 

The Role

You will service, maintain, test and repair commercial fire sprinkler systems across the M62 corridor and surrounding areas. Working independently and as part of a team, you will complete accurate service and compliance documentation, build professional customer relationships and take part in an out-of-hours call-out rota.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain commercial fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, deluge and pre-action systems, flow switch testing and zone check testing.
  • Carry out fault-finding, repairs and component replacement.
  • Perform system testing in line with FM, NFPA, BS EN 12845 and LPC standards.
  • Complete service reports and compliance documentation in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with customers professionally and build strong working relationships.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.

 

About You

  • Proven experience in the fire sprinkler industry.
  • Strong understanding of FM, NFPA and LPCB regulations and standards.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Desirable

 

  • CSCS, IPAF and PASMA qualifications.
  • LPS 1048 qualification.
