Location: Rotherham/Hybrid

Part time: 25-32 hours per week over Mon to Friday

Salary: £40-50k Pro rota

Are you an ambitious and experienced Finance Manager looking for a role where you are not just a number and can really make a difference?

Our client are a established and growing company within the Construction industry who operate across Retail, Interiors, Construction and Public sector, due to growth they require a Finance Manager to join the business.

As Finance Manager you will report to the MD and with the support of an Accounts assistant, you will have the responsibility for all the companies finance functions.  You must be able to manage change and be able to identify efficiencies, improvements and implement new processes, systems and ways of working.

Duties will include:

  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Responsible for the Profit and Loss and Balance sheet
  • Monthly reports to include company P&L and forecasts.
  • Recurring revenue reconciliation
  • Managing change and the Implementation of a new system and processes
  • The management of a small accounts team to include an Assistant and a Administrator
  • Management of Purchase Ledger, Sales ledger and Credit control across multiple trading companies
  • To process Intercompany charges
  • Vat submissions
  • Cash Flow forecasting 
  • Reconciliations
  • Project Applications and reverse accruals 

The Ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous accounts experience across all areas of finance
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Experience of fast-paced environment with high-transactional volume is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience of implementing new systems and procedures would be an advantage
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Construction experience
  • Experience within Cash flow costings and reconciliations
  • Experience with project applications and reverse accruals
