EV/PV Electrician

EV/PV Electrician  Location: East Yorkshire  Employment Type:

Permanent, Full-Time Salary £41,600 to £52k DOE
Contractual hours- 40 hour a week - (50 to 60 hours a week with overtime)

• An exciting opportunity to join an industry-leading company specialising in Solar PV and EV charging systems As an Electrician, you will be responsible for Testing and inspecting solar PV systems and EV charging infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• The role involves installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, particularly within the Solar PV and EV charging networks. 
• There is also progression to work up to Leaders within the company too.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing and Inspection of solar PV systems and EV charging : Diagnose and resolve faults on electrical systems to minimise downtime.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections to (18th Edition) standards.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and provide accurate reports to management.
• Assist in the commissioning of new installations and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Required Qualifications and Skills: 18th Edition Standards 
• Must have worked on Commercial and Industrial - Do not apply if you are domestic only 2391
• Testing and Inspection or equivalent qualification (desirable)  Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills within the renewables sector. Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Excellent Customer Service skills  Preferred Experience: Previous experience with Solar PV systems or EV charging infrastructure (desirable but not essential).
• Working on Solar farms
