Job Title: EV Business Development Manager
Company Overview Our client is an ambitious and fast-growing wholesale business operating in the renewable energy sector. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the growth of their commercial Electric Vehicle (EV) product range.
The Role Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will take ownership of your designated region, focusing on building a robust customer base and a steady pipeline of repeat business. With the business entering an exciting phase of rapid growth, your contribution will be key to driving consistent sales performance and fostering lasting client relationships.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that demands adaptability, enthusiasm, and a hands-on approach to challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic plan for business growth.
Identify new market opportunities and customer needs through targeted research.
Schedule and lead meetings with potential clients.
Promote the company’s EV solutions, effectively addressing client needs and objectives.
Ensure all sales orders comply with legal and internal standards.
Deliver responsive after-sales support and gather valuable client feedback.
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
Support the development of junior team members into capable sales professionals.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven track record in business development.
Strong understanding of the EV market and related technologies.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Competence in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Strong negotiation, time management, and planning abilities.
A degree in business, sales, or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential.
