Role: Estimator

Location: Office Location West Yorkshire  

Salary: Up to £40k to £60K

An exciting role has become available for an Estimator to join an outgoing team within our main client. This established shopfitting company with project values between £50K - £3million across; Restaurant, bars and hotels.

Responsibilities and Duties for the Estimator 

• Compilation of estimates & quotation requests’
• Review and approve sub-contractor quotations.
• Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Assist in subcontractor procurement.
• Assisting measuring work in progress using schedule of rates (SORs).
• Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or clients/customers when necessary.
• Build effective working relationships with clients and Contractors
• Contribute to departmental meetings and toolbox talks.
• Travel to sites when required.

Essential requirements for the Estimator 

• Experience in Shopfitting sector is essential
• Must be computer literate & competent at using spreadsheets & databases
• Hold a full valid UK driving licence
• Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines
• Effective communication & influencing skills
• Enthusiastic & flexible approach
• Self-motivated & commercially aware
• Methodical, innovative & confident
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Friendly manner & a sense of humour required
