Job Opportunity: Industrial Electrician (Installation Projects)

Location: West Midlands
Salary & Benefits: Circa £50k + benefits

Multitask Personnel is collaborating with a well-established Industrial Electrical Engineering Contractor that has been delivering exceptional services across various industry sectors in the UK for the past 25 years. The company is renowned for its quality service and extensive range of electrical solutions provided on Industrial sites, including quarries, large factories, and waste treatment plants.

We’re recruiting for a number of Industrial Electricians to work around the West Midlands area on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Installation: Work as part of the project installation team at customer sites, executing electrical tasks assigned by the Project Leader/Supervisor.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site rules and Health & Safety regulations. In case of uncertainty, proactively seek guidance from the Supervisor.
• Cable Management: Install, gland, and terminate a variety of multi-core cables (XPLE/SWA), and handle the fabrication and installation of ladder, tray, and basket containment.
• Equipment Installation: Install control equipment, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), isolators, distribution boards, emergency stops, various instrumentation (e.g., rotation sensors, level sensors), and industrial single-phase and 3-phase Star and Delta motors.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ECS Registered: Fully qualified Gold Card including AM2.
• Wiring Regulations: Qualified in BS7671 18th.
• Driving Licence: Valid UK driving license required.
• Industry Background: Experience in Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water, or other heavy industries is highly desirable.
