Salary: Up to £38,025 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Overtime after 37.5 hours in the week (Time and a half)

On Call 1 in 7 (£150 per weekly on call period)

We are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to work on a well established commercial facilities contract sites across Birmingham. This is a mobile role offering long term stability, a competitive package and structured on call payments. You will deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple leisure sites, ensuring assets are maintained to a high standard and in line with statutory requirements. The role will suit an engineer who is comfortable working independently, attending breakdowns and completing remedial works.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Fault finding and breakdown response
• Electrical remedial works and minor installations
• Working on lighting systems, distribution boards and associated circuits
• Responding to helpdesk reactive calls within SLA requirements
• Completing work to a high standard and updating job records
• Participating in the on call rota
• Travelling between sites as required

Package and Benefits

• Salary up to £38,025
• Company van, fuel card and uniform provided - Can be used for private use

• Travel time with 30 minutes deducted each way
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours

• Standby payment of £150 per on call week
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

Requirements

• NVQ or City and Guilds in Electrical Installation
• 2391 Inspection and Testing
• 18th Edition
• Experience in electrical service and maintenance
• Confident attending breakdowns and completing remedial works
• Full UK driving licence
