Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Part-Time – 3 Days per Week)

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a distinguished and high-profile legal organisation, providing essential engineering support within a professional corporate setting. This role demands a disciplined and detail-oriented individual with a strong electrical bias, capable of maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and operational performance across the estate.

The Role
You will be responsible for a mix of reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), ensuring the building remains safe, compliant and fully operational. Duties will include:

• Carrying out building inspections, including lighting checks (non-LED systems)
• Attending to reactive electrical faults and general maintenance issues
• Supporting scheduled PPM tasks across electrical systems
• Assisting with wider site maintenance including WPS support, security considerations, ground maintenance and M&E services

Working Pattern

• 3 days per week
• Flexibility on working days week by week
• Typical hours: 7am – 4pm (where applicable)
• Start date: Week commencing 11th May

Requirements

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• NVQ Level 2 (minimum)
• DBS check
• Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP)
• Strong electrical bias with solid fault-finding ability

• Candidates must provide their own hand tools (specialist tools will be supplied)
