About This Opportunity

We're working with a forward-thinking contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial electrical projects, and they're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Chesterfield.

This is a great opportunity for an organised, driven electrical professional to take ownership of projects from £10 to £150k value, working across a varied and high-profile pipeline of work throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding region. You'll play a key role from pre-construction through to completion, with genuine scope to progress as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical packages from pre-construction through to completion
  • Taking on the jobs from start to finish
  • Estimate on works
  • Arrange labour for site work and ensure that all certification of workers are up to date.
  • Oversee project delivery to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and resources, providing regular updates
  • Lead site teams and maintain strong communication across all stakeholders
  • Contribute to tenders

About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects (up to £150k)
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines effectively
  • Commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
  • Full UK driving licence, for travel to site visits

 

Desirable:

  • CAD design but be advantageous to help with the role, but this can be trained if needed
  • 2391 testing certs for electrical work.
