Role Overview:

Multitask Personnel are working alongside our award-winning energy provider who are looking to expand their team! An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Policy Manager to join their Technical Support team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the technical management of the operational field workforce, including direct & contracted meter operatives. This is a permanent hybrid role with nationwide travel to their offices across the UK.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement electrical policies and procedures in line with industry regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate existing electrical systems to identify areas for improvement or compliance issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on electrical policy matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards related to electrical metering.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with electrical policies and regulations.
  • Investigate incidents or breaches of electrical policy and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their understanding of electrical policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to electrical policy compliance.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical Metering.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and metering technologies.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as BS 7671, IEC standards, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Full driving license.
