Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum

Location: Hybrid with travel to South Yorkshire

Multitask Personnel are pleased to be working with our client, a well-established Mechanical and Electrical building services contractor, that dominates in their sector. Due to new measures being introduced within the business and continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced Electrical Estimator on a full-time basis to join their successful team.

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be a crucial part of our client's expanding team, contributing to the successful delivery of projects in the retail and leisure sectors. You will be responsible for producing accurate electrical estimates, analysing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and deliver accurate electrical estimates within the commercial sector.
• Gain and analyse quotes from suppliers and subcontractors during the tender process to complete bid packages.
• Attend site visits and meetings as required.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Produce, negotiate, and update tender documents.
• Explore alternative engineering methods to reduce costs and enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
• Proven experience working as an Electrical Estimator for an electrical/M&E contractor.
• Familiarity with the Trimble Estimation software package.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead bids is desirable.
