Job Title: Driver/Warehouse assistant

Location: Bournemouth

Duration: Permanent - full time

Salary: Circa 27/28k dependent on experience

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the renewable energy industry, requires a Driver/Warehouse assistant to be a part of the logistics and operations team. You will be working in a small but fast paced warehouse and you will contribute to the smooth day to day running of a business.

Responsibilities:

The role is varied with multiple responsibilities which include:

• Unloading incoming deliveries; checking for damages, checking the manifest is correct to the goods received.
• Packing orders to be shipped out via our partner couriers.
• Driving the company van to collect orders from our suppliers.
• Delivering customer orders in our own vehicles.
• Warehouse maintenance; keeping our warehouse clean, tidy and well stocked.
• Assisting customer collections, helping to load into their vehicles.
• Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
• To be on hand if other parts of the business require assistance.
• Maintaining good relationships with customers.
• Applying systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the warehouse.

Requirements and Skills:

• Driving license
• Experience in the renewable energy/solar industry
• Computer skills
