Role Overview

The Project Manager (Data) will lead the full operational delivery of Data/IT projects from bid and pre-commencement through to practical completion. This role requires strong leadership to ensure technical, commercial, managerial, and health and safety targets are met. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality service and act as a key interface between project stakeholders and support functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Health & Safety: Champion and enforce Health & Safety protocols, promoting a safety-first culture across all project activities.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure all company policies, processes, and procedures are fully followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Compliance: Deliver all work in line with statutory and internal standards, including installation guidelines and client specifications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the project delivery team, maximising individual, and collective performance.
  • Bid Support: Participate in bid activity when required, working closely with business development teams.
  • Planning & Budgeting: Contribute to business planning and budgets, identify profit opportunities, and monitor project financial performance.
  • Project Reviews: Provide accurate and timely input into monthly project reviews, reporting on financial and completion status.
  • Project Delivery: Manage all project activities to ensure delivery within time, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Client Relations: Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring efficient delivery and identifying future business opportunities.
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure designs and installations meet both internal and client specifications as well as statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Certifications (Required/Desirable)

Essential:

  • UKATA (CAT A) Asbestos Awareness
  • CSCS or ECS Card for Managers
  • Project Management Certification (CTPM, APM, or Prince2)
  • SMSTS or equivalent

Desirable:

  • First Aid at Work
  • NPPV Vetting
  • DBS Certification
