Call Centre Agent – Outbound Calling

Temp to Perm | £12.60 per hour + Bonuses

Multitask Personnel is proud to be working with a leading utilities provider in the smart metering industry. We are recruiting multiple Call Centre Agents to join their outbound call centre team in Bolton on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Role Overview:

As a Call Centre Agent, you’ll be responsible for making outbound calls via a dialler system, engaging customers in meaningful conversations and securing Smart Meter Installation bookings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Making outbound sales calls using a blended dialler to engage customers, overcome objections and secure bookings.
• Handling inbound calls to manage customer queries and arrange additional bookings.
• Working to set KPIs and targets, ensuring you meet or exceed expectations.
• Re-engaging with customers to reschedule appointments when needed.
• Participating in coaching sessions with your Team Leader to enhance performance.
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and improve processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a sales or target-driven environment (call centre, telesales, outbound sales, etc.).
• Confidence in overcoming objections and influencing customer decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.
• Computer literacy and the ability to navigate systems efficiently.

Working Hours & Pay:

• 40 hours per week shifts between 8am – 8pm (Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday in 4)
• £12.60 per hour
• Quarterly bonus based on KPIs and performance (circa £3k per year).
