Location – Sheffield, (Hybrid)

Salary –£60,000 -  £65,000

An exciting role has become available for a Construction Manager to join an outgoing team who are a Principal Contractor, who specialise in the public sector.

Our client is a well-established Sheffield based construction company who have been around for 10 years and are continuously growing, they work to project values between £100K - £2 million across; the public sector – Schools, Councils, Universities, Laboratories, and other small commercial Projects.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will take control of leading a team of project managers to consistently deliver projects to company standards and procedures-

Duties-

• Coordinating activity required to meet quality standards
• Conducting site audits and inspections
• Dealing with any issues that arise with customers or projects
• Staying on top of customer expectations
• Following legal regulations
• Drive Improvement & Consistency
• Lead a team of project managers to deliver quality and consistency across contracts
• Hold monthly meetings with project managers
• Manage H&S across the business and projects
• Improve process procedures and implement new systems
• Have a good understanding of H&S process and systems
• Developing Company quality procedures, standards, and specifications
• Matching processes with standards

Essential requirements for the Construction Manager –

• Experience within Construction
• Experience of working on projects over £100k
• NEBOSH Certification or working towards
• Knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022
• Hold a full valid UK Driving Licence
• Must be computer literate & competent at using spreadsheets & databases
• Effective communication & influencing skills
• Enthusiastic & flexible approach
• Self-motivated
